Welcome! My name is Joanna Malaczynski-Moore. I am an author, artist, researcher, and mind-body guide.

A couple of decades ago I made a commitment to myself that I wanted to prioritize happiness in my life, and I also wanted to make a positive difference in the world. Making a positive difference became a very challenging endeavor and undermined my happiness for a long time.

Over the years, I’ve come to the conclusion that in order to be happy and to make a positive difference in the world, we need the same thing: a shift in perspective within our physiology.

This led me to mind-body practices, including those taught by ancient traditions and those adopted by modern practitioners. They have helped me slow down at times, digest what I experience, and take a good look at myself and the world around me.  

This does not mean I have life figured out or that I have any particular capabilities you can expect of me. I’m just a human being, like the rest of us.
